Frequently Asked Questions
How do I view details for a class on the calendar?
Single-click any event block on the calendar to open a details panel showing the full session information β course title, section type, room, lecturer, and time.
My timetable shows week ranges like "Wks 1β13". What does this mean?
UWI courses repeat across a 13-week semester. The app translates academic week numbers into real calendar dates using UWI's published semester milestones. Use the week navigation arrows or the mini calendar to move between weeks.
Is the course catalog always up to date?
Yes. When you search and add a course via the catalog, the timetable is fetched directly and in real time from the UWI website. The data is always current for the active semester.
My courses disappeared after closing the browser. Why?
You may be browsing in Incognito / Private mode, which clears local storage on exit. Under normal browser settings, your schedule is stored permanently. Sign in to ensure your data is always backed up to the cloud as well.
How do I print or export my schedule?
Click the print icon in the top bar or select Print / Save PDF from the right sidebar. This generates a clean, landscape-formatted PDF optimised for printing or saving to your device.
How do I start fresh for a new semester?
Open the right sidebar and click the red Clear Timetable button. This removes all courses, custom activities, and selections so you can begin loading your new semester schedule.
Will syncing to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar be supported?
We are actively exploring ICS calendar export and direct sync with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar for a future update. Currently you can export a print-ready PDF of your schedule.
Which browsers and devices are supported?
All modern browsers are supported β Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox β on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. The PWA can be installed on any of these devices for a native app-like experience.
How can I get support or report a bug?
Please email us at [email protected]. We are happy to help resolve issues with timetable loading, formatting, or sync.
